Thank you for such a quick reply, you are right the history of MTB 243 is well documented. I have attached the extract from a Certificate of Service which has MTB 243 at HMS Wildfire in September 1944, which would be difficult if she had already been sunk. Perhaps the service record confuses MTB 243...
