Coastal Forces Veterans

The flotilla was berthed at Langeline in Copenhagen. which is still there near to the Little mermaid. I went there a couple of years ago.

I am not sure what ship Bunts and Sparks are from. they do not appear in the photo of the crew of Ml206 in the photo above. "Sparks" might be the nickname of every electrician? I don't know if this is the case for "Bunts" though?

In my fathers photo album he mentions Copenhagen, Flensberg, Bremer Haven, Bornholm, Kiel. You might have cleared up one little mystery though as ...

The officer in the centre 10th from Right looks to be Lt Risden. captain of ML206. Another officer from this boat is Lt Cowie, but I am not sure which one he is. I have a photograph of ML206s crew while they were at Ronne in June 1945

Thank you for the extensive information. I now know that the photos I have in my dads album are from june/July 1946 because LT Cowie was 1st lt of ML 206 at this time. He is in this photo of the crew Taken in Ronne. The Skipper is Risdon? My Father is second left at the back

This must be when it was bought by the Sea scouts. Does any one know what happened to it afterwards?

My Father was on board Ml 206 during the war. He has left me photos from the 1st Flotilla's to Copenhagen, Kiel, Bornholme etc. I was wondering if anyone had more information about this ship.

I have several photos from my father's album showing Ml 220 with ML 206, in Copenhagen at the end of the war as well as other places. Kiel, Flensburg, Bornholm etc
