Peter many thanks for this information, I will start searching for the book. In front of me at the moment is a small, 4.5in/115mm, wooden model of an MTB that Frank Burke carved. I first saw it at my grandfather's house around 1966, and when my uncle died it came to me.

After years of thinking about it I've finally applied for and received the service record of my uncle, Frank Burke.
