Hi, I have a copy of this book and I recently visited Vis and laid a wreath on the CFVA Plaque in Komiza, which overlooks the Church that the book is based on. you are allowed to copy 5% or a chapter, so if you have a specific interest, let me know. My Dad was on 651 and often visited Ken and his wife

My father Albert Baden Everitt JX389616 Torpedoman 1st. Class. His first MTB was 297 from 9th.Jun until 25th. Aug 1943. Then 29th Aug 1943 until 7th. Nov 1943. MTB243 26th. Nov 1943 until 3rd. Dec 1943. the night of Bari raid. He was aboard that night because. He was denied shore leave for dissent....

My Dad Peter Smith served on MTB 651 from mid 1944 until Nov 1944, so I might have some photos?

Hi Matt

Thanks for posting some of your Grandad's story from MTB405. My Father was on MTB 406 and they served in the same flotilla. I am also researching my Dad's story, if I come across anything relating to 405 I will tag you. Regards Simon

Thanks for responding, I have a number of photos from when my Dad served on MTB 651 and would be happy to send you some photos,.might also have a photo of your Grandad as there are no names on my Dads photos.
