Maurice was born on 15 August 1920 and married Lena Bryning (b 1916 Lancaster) in the 2nd quarter of 1939 whilst living in Barrow. The couple later lived at 29 Salford Road after moving from the Crescent. Maurice died on 8 July 1976 and Lena died in 2001. there are more details in "Dog Boats at...
