I got the record card of HSL 341 from the microfilm held at the RAF Museum and it shows in to be an ex-MTB with a Packard engine, ...

WW2 service details of MTB 341

I'm struggling to find any details of the wartime activities of MTB 341. There is just very basic information of U-boat.net saying she was built in Canada and commissioned in the Royal Navy on the 1st of May 1942. It then shows her being transferred to the RAF as an ASR in 1943 and decommissioned in...

Re: WW2 M.T.B. pictures wanted

thank you, that's one ticked off , the others are proving hard to locate. I expected to have a problem with 36 as it spent most of the war as a training ship at St Christopher in Fort William, but the others were all fairly active.

WW2 M.T.B. pictures wanted

Hello, I'm busy working on a book regarding the M.T.Bs which were "adopted" during Warship Week in WW2. I am looking for photos for publication of the following craft M.T.Bs 36, 38, 52, 82, 91 and 341. Any help is appreciated and will be credited in the book.
thank you,
J
