What a great story relating to the Service of ML 207, it has the makings of a very interesting book. Having served on MTB's and MGB's in Mediterranean I can visualise the drama, yes and the comradeship that was ours serving on these Little Ships.

MGB 647 Casualties

On reading todays memorial list 10/6/18 I would like to share with you a page from my memoirs re the action where 3 of the crew including 2 Marine Commando's were killed in action . It was after this action that I was drafted to MGB 647 with some apprehension

Interesting enquiry re Lt Barnwell , if we are aware of his boat number, I think we stand a chance for further information . Our C/O Lt Mountstephens also received the Greek War Medal aboard MGB 647 for the rescue of the Greek Destroyer Adrias off the Turkish Coast in October 1943
