Petty Officer Sidney Albert James Haynes Motor Mechanic

I wonder if any body from the C.F.Veterans would have known my Father In Law, I know from his Navy Records he served on ML`s 120/149/150, also several shore bases around Britain.
He never returned home after leaving the Navy in 1945. My wife last saw her Dad around 1943 when she was 7 years old.
Where he went after his Demob no one had any idea, and my Mother in Law never ever mentioned him.
It was after her Death in 1989 that we found her Marriage Cert. and this gave us the Rank and Service No. of her Dad , I then started to search the Country to try and find any trace of him, I finally found a Death Cert, this enabled me to obtain his Service Records. He had died in 1976 of Lung Cancer.
I know it is very late in the day, but we hope there might be a chance that a CFV member may have come across him or served with him between 1941-45

Laurence Lightwood (Tel) C/WRX 125
Edward Kerfoot Jones (TLt)

ML 150

There is further mention of ML 150 as it happens in the London Branch December 2011 newsletter.

I hope this may provide a possible starting point for your research.
