Stoker Fred Bruty MTB 381

Postby Sailor » Wed Sep 19, 2012 4:13 pm

i have a NAVAL MESSAGE from my dad to my mum dated aug 1945 headed Unit 'C' MTBs 381 504 + 2 'D' Boats. there is a little sketch of an MTB with 381 written on the side. It shows movements between aug 15 and aug 27 going From Portland and back to Portland with 10 stops in between. I would now like to know more about his time on the MTBs. I think he was based in Ramsgate as his ashes were scattered there when he died 19 years ago. His name was Fred C Bruty. Number was Stoker xxkx 179237 class 151.

Please can anyone help?
Keith W Bruty

THANKYOU.
