Readers might like to see this article from Forces TV. There is a strong possibility that HMS President, currently at Chatham, may be scrapped. She is one of only three surviving WW1 ships and the training base for London RNVR, until the new "concrete ship" was opened in St Katherine's Dock. Many of our coastal forces officers and men trained in her before the war.
