Leading Stoker Leslie Fish

With a sadden heart to let you know Leslie Fish (leading stoker) that served on MTB 360 during the war has passed away on the 4th feb 2014 aged 90 years old.
He was a member of the coastal forces veterans and had many a happy times when he & mum would go for weekends when there was a reunion. He is being buried in his coastal forces blazer which he was so proud of. The funeral is on the 13th Feb in north devon as they moved from Newbury when ill health affected them to live near their son.

It is always very sad to hear of the departing of our Coastal Forces members. Please accept our sincere condolences Tina, our thoughts are with you and the family at this sad time.

It is with deep sadness to learn of the death of Shipmate Leslie Fish . Leslie was one of our early Members and with his Wife were regular attenders at our reunions , as with all these reunions the usual mess deck banter would surface and Leslie had his tales to tell all part of that wonderful spirit of comradeship that was the aim of the Coastal Forces Veterans Association
