ERA (4) E. S. Childs

Sad to report that Ted Childs has crossed the bar.
A peace time member of the RN's Coastal Forces, serving toward the very end of that specialist branch - 1954/56 - being primarily based at HMS Hornet.
An enthusiastic member of the London Branch (CFVA) 3419 and well known for his skilful modelling ability. He was the proud Uncle of Paul Childs, owner of the ex-HMS Gay Archer.
He will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
