MTB 730 appears to be one of the boats that did not have much of its active life recorded.
Our database shows- Builder's Yard: Woodnutt, Bembridge, Isle of Wight Completion Date: 28th April 1944 Loss or Disposal Date: 7th May 1958 surviving the war to be transferred to the Sea Cadet Corp in April 1946, before being sold on 7 May 1958.

There is a line drawing of MTB 730 by John Lambert in "Dog Boats at War" - Leonard Reynolds ISBN 0 7509 1817 9 (page 6) - demonstrating the fast development of armament on "D" boats between January 1943 and November 1944 - MTB 730 illustrating the latter date.
