MTB 313 - Camouflage

Postby Amanzi268 » Thu Jul 24, 2014 1:53 am

Can anyone advise what disruptive camouflage was used on MTB 313, a 77ft ELCO, at the time of the raid on Tobruk?

All pictures I have seen only show the bows; the camouflage appears to be a polygon pattern. Other boats in the series had different patterns of disruptive camouflage; was the choice left up to the individual captains?

Thank you

Good day. To the previous issue of MTB-313 I want to attach a question about boats of the same 10th Flotilla MTB 266 and MTB-315 - which German ships they attacked and sank in the Bay of Alinda morning 15.11.1943.
