Within today's Memorial page it is with clear memory of the action in which Sub Lt Thomerson was mortally wounded. I was aboard MTB 243
along with MTB 84 and MTB 674 returning to Komiza after an all night patrol when MTB 674was attacked from the air by a German fighter. Sadly Lt Thomerson was the only casualty in that action.
