Dark Class Model

Postby Pioneer » Tue Nov 23, 2010 4:17 pm

A superb model kit of P1104 HMS Dark Biter is now available from Messrs Nautical Marine Models. Considering the almost Exhibition standard of accuracy which can be achieved, with permission we have been able to illustrate this with a couple of images of what is truly a splendid and reasonably priced kit. :tu:

Ian Roberts constructed this lovely 1/24 scale ‘Nautical Marine Models’ kit of Dark Biter. Note that she is in the final all black hull colour after the half black, half grey experiment to disguise the dirty exhaust from the Deltic Diesel engines. Ian says he simply followed the information supplied. I’m sure it’s not that easy, but isn't it well worth the effort to produce such a great model. Ian runs her at the sites available to members of Gloucester & District Model Boat Club.
Thanks Ian for the photos.
