British Power Boat Co. 71' 6" MTB - Bridge/Cockpit details.........

Postby Chris Preston » Tue Apr 04, 2017 9:45 pm

Greetings All,

My name is Chris Preston, from Victoria, BC, Canada. I'm a retired RCN Chief Petty Officer (Reservist with 44 years of service) and a retired Police Officer (25 years), and a long-tome model builder.

I'm currently building a model of a British Power Boat Co. 71' 6" MTB - MTB 459, from the 29th (RCN ) MTB Flotilla, based on a Deans Marine 1/24th scale kit, with some major detail improvements to the deck camber and sheer, and the bridge/wheelhouse structure - mainly correcting the shape. I'm at the point where I need some details for the open cockpit portion of the main cabin but haven't been able to locate anything.

Would anyone on this board know of a source for photos of the cockpit showing all the controls - throttles, engine telegraphs, torpedo controls, and switchboards/circuit panels, that would be visible in an open cockpit?

Many Thanks in advance.

Chris Preston,

Canada
