It is with deep sadness I read the Memorial today, July 21st.in memory of Arthur Arnold and others .
I was aboard MTB 633 in Augusta and experienced for the very first time the reality of death in conflict.
For me and others the effect it had was the strengthening in us all the experience and knowledge of war, that would be so necessary in our role, serving in Coastal Forces aboard those "little ships" MTB's MGB's and ML's
