Fairmile B

Postby JOHNB » Wed Jan 13, 2010 4:41 am

Would any of the members have a photograph of the inside of a Fairmile B. Anything from Stem To Stern. I would like to add some inside shots of what these boats were like on the inside on my web site. There have been lots of photographs of ML from the outside but I would like to show the future generations what the day to day accommodation and working space was like on board a B type ML.

Regards All JB

I may have some photos of the engine room from my Dad's collection - any interest? Email me on walker@jdc-builders.co.uk

Dear JB,

Sorry for the tardy reply. I have been away for a couple of weekends. I will hunt out the photos this weekend and will be in touch next week.

Operate Blowers for 5 mins before starting Engines
The notice in the lower picture on the bulkhead says it all really. These were very dangerous vessels to get under way if they had been moored and closed down for any length of time.
