The Coastal Forces Heritage Trust

Postby Pioneer » Sun Dec 04, 2016 8:45 pm

I have seen that the CFHT have been awarded a large grant to further promote the heroic work of Coastal Forces during WW2. The RN museum at Gosport will certainly be a place to visit in the future.

Also worth noting that Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust were awarded funding for the creation and maintenance of a historic flotilla. This will include the restoration of Falklands War landing craft F8 and HMS Falmouth's First World War era steam cutter, but also includes the building of a replica First World War Coastal Motor Boat (CMB 4) and new engines for MGB 81.
