It is with great sadness that we belatedly report the passing of Peter. just one month away from his 99th Birthday. (D. 22.50 on 23rd August 2023)

The family has passed on details of his funeral. It will take place at 1100 hrs on the 14th September at Forest Park Crematoriam. Forest Road. Hainault. Essex IG6 4QW.
Peter was present during the Bari air raid on 2 December 1943; with many others, he was heavily involved with the many rescue operations, suffering serious burn injuries from the release of Mustard Gas into the harbour from the bombed Allied Merchantman. SS John Harvey.
Awarded the BEM, Peter will be missed by all that knew him and for his unstinted work with keeping the memory of Coastal Forces alive.
