WW2 M.T.B. pictures wanted

Postby jabdc5 » Fri Aug 22, 2025 2:43 pm

Hello, I'm busy working on a book regarding the M.T.Bs which were "adopted" during Warship Week in WW2. I am looking for photos for publication of the following craft M.T.Bs 36, 38, 52, 82, 91 and 341. Any help is appreciated and will be credited in the book.
thank you,
J

Hello jabdc5

Thank you for your enquiry to the forum. I don't hold any photos of the boats you mentioned, though there is a photo of MTB 82 posted by jonco in the thread on the subject of MTB 638, if you care to check it out.

Regards

thank you, that's one ticked off , the others are proving hard to locate. I expected to have a problem with 36 as it spent most of the war as a training ship at St Christopher in Fort William, but the others were all fairly active.
