Vosper MTB 74

Do any photos exist of the starboard side of 74, showing the full extent of the camouflage scheme? The only photo I can find shows the boat at speed, travelling from left to right (so to speak), with spray obscuring the rear third of the hull. Although the scheme is similar on both sides of the boat, it would not appear to be identical.

I would like to include profiles of both sides of the boat, to go in the book mentioned in the J.S White thread, rather than just the port.

Hello 'GCU Grey Area'
A belated 'Welcome Aboard':)

There a couple of images of the paint scheme of a model of MTB 74 at http://www.bmpt.co.uk/mtb-74_topic235.html.
Although a 'model' - I know Dave Abbot, met him several times at the Luton Model Boat Club, and would vouch for his research (and obvious modelling skills)
Hope this will assist

Regards

Hi. Thanks for the link.

I'd be much happier with a photo, though!

As a modeller myself, I know what a demanding bunch we are. If I can't find a photo, I may stick to a view of the port side, and fudge it by saying 'starboard side believed to be similar'.

Thanks for posting the image.

That's the photo I was referring to above! If only spray didn't obscure the hull sides aft of the silencer 'boxes'...
