Hello corkerrys

Thank you for the information on Maurice Illingworth. 629 was ordered as an MGB initially but changed to an MTB during construction. This photo is said to be of MTB 629, which after its decommissioning in 1945 became a floating guest house at Penzance until 1950 before a move to Salcombe serving as the floating hotel Kiwi until 1960. She ended her life with the Island Cruising Club who used her as a base for their sailing holidays at Salcombe until 1977 after which time the boat was burned.
