Re: MTB 670

Hello Mary
I think my dad Bill Wright was on MTB 670 from new also and served in the Med until Nov 44 so it looks likely that Ken and Bill served together.I have posted pictures of him with some of his shipmates so have you seen your Ken in any of these.

MTB 350

I have posted before relating to MTB 670 but my Dad Bill Wright also served on MTB 350 in home waters for a while after returning from the Med in Nov 44 therefore is there any info available about MTB 350.

Great pictures Peter keep them coming.Did you ever come across any MTB 670 crew or involved in actions with them during your time in the Coastal Forces or indeed through the Veterans Association.

Re: MTB 670

Re: MTB 670

Ha Ha it's Bernie as in Bernard. We think today how extraordinary to expect boys of 18 or younger to do what they did when we look at the youth of today.I think the boys of their generation had to become men at an age when our boys are still at school but to come back and not brag about their experie...

Re: MTB 670

I am searching for info on the service of my dad Bill Wright who served as a stoker on MTB670.Thinking about the actions he and his shipmates may have been involved in at such a young age led me to wonder if there was a process of selection in order to be assigned to Motor Torpedo Boats during WW2.i...

Re: MTB 670
