MTB 350

Postby Stanbridge76 » Tue Nov 10, 2020 2:48 pm

I have posted before relating to MTB 670 but my Dad Bill Wright also served on MTB 350 in home waters for a while after returning from the Med in Nov 44 therefore is there any info available about MTB 350.

Hello Bernie

I'm sorry that you haven't had a reply. On a forum like this, it depends on someone with a connection to the same boat happening to see your original post.

There is a Facebook page "Spitfires of the Sea" which is operated by one of our members, Pete Scott, which you might try.

I wish you success.

Apologies Bernie, this one has slipped through the net somewhat. There are references to MTB 350, part of the 11th MTB Flotilla in Len Reynolds' Home Waters MTBs & MGBs which I will compile for you. There are a series of awards for the boat noted in the awards database along with one casualty. I also have some handwritten Coastal Forces Log Books which will contain mentions of the boat.
