London Branch has sadly learned of the death of its Chairman Eddie Dibley. Eddie 'crossed the bar' peacefully at home on 20 April, 2024, aged 98. Eddie served on MTB 757 of the 66th MTB Flotilla which took part in mine clearing operations at Le Havre, and he was awarded the Légion d'Honneur in 2022 by the French Government. An obituary notice has been posted on the home page of the web site.
Eddie's funeral will be held on Wednesday 8th May at 13.30 hours at Hemel Hempstead Crematorium, Bedmond Road, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP3 8LL
The family have requested that donations be made to Rennie Grove Peace Hospice rather than sending flowers.
