London Branch have learned of the death of long-time member Dennis Reeve. The Branch had earlier been informed Dennis had broken his hip and was recovering in hospital after a successful operation, where he had been visited by shipmate Peter Bickmore. Dennis had served with ML 208 and MTB 647 and was among the first to join the Coastal Forces Veterans Association after its formation in 1974. He was a very popular, and long-standing active member of London Branch, but in recent years, despite the help of his family, had not been able to attend meetings regularly, but had still kept in touch with shipmates by telephone.
